that's my mantra as I go forth and fail an entry-level ceramics class. I have no love for clay, beyond smashing it... and unfortunately, when working to meet a deadline, smashing everything you make tends not be the most productive way of meeting that deadline...

with so many good and happy things that I can get passionate about coming into my orbit, I guess there has to be this mind numbing and completely uninspiring area to keep my joy in check... although that biweekly geography lecture already does a pretty good job on the mind numbing front...
